Freelance Google Ads & Paid Social Media Specialist

Contract / Remote / Part-Time (5–10 hours/week to start)

About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced and highly strategic freelance Google Ads and/or Paid Social Media Expert to support the brand growth and visibility of Liz Brunner—keynote speaker, executive coach, award-winning author, and communications expert.

This role will focus on creating, optimizing, and managing paid campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive qualified traffic, and generate leads for Liz’s offerings, including keynotes, workshops, coaching, and book sales. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and creative—with a deep understanding of performance marketing for personal brands, speakers, or service-based businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, build, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube) and/or Paid Social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn).

  • Conduct keyword and audience research to refine targeting and boost performance.

  • Develop ad copy, visual direction, and CTA guidance that aligns with Liz's voice and brand.

  • Continuously test and optimize campaigns to improve CTR, conversion rate, and ROAS.

  • Set up conversion tracking and integrate analytics tools to report on KPIs.

  • Provide monthly performance reports and actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate with the content team to align campaign strategy with marketing funnels, offers, and seasonal pushes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience managing paid Google Ads and/or social media ad campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels, targeting strategies, and lead gen best practices.

  • Experience optimizing campaigns for speakers, coaches, consultants, or personal brands is a major plus.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt strategy based on performance.

  • Skilled in reporting and interpreting data for business decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Experience (not required, but preferred):

  • Knowledge of retargeting strategies and custom audience creation.

  • Familiarity with promoting keynote speakers, executive coaches, authors and/ or communication experts.

  • Previous work in branding or communications-related industries.
